Marion, and Yogini Patel Jani have won reversal in the California Court of Appeal (Second District) on behalf of the firm’s client, a large California law firm. Halpern May successfully persuaded the appellate court to overturn the trial court’s denial of the client’s motion to compel arbitration of a malpractice dispute, ultimately convincing all three justices to issue a unanimous ruling that required the dispute to be ordered to arbitration.
