In September 2020, Halpern May successfully represented an EB-5 investment entity against
investors who alleged that they had been defrauded in connection with their investment in the
entity. Joseph Ybarra and Albert Wang of Halpern May represented the EB-5 investment entity,
securing the dismissal with prejudice of the investors’ claims on a dispositive motion.
