In January 2021, Halpern May attorneys Joseph Ybarra and S. Albert Wang successfully defended an EB-5 investment entity against an investor’s lawsuit for fraud. The EB-5 investment entity not only won the first motion in the case, causing the investor to dismiss all of his claims, but also obtained a Court order requiring the investor to pay the EB-5 investment entity’s costs and attorneys’ fees.
