On July 17, 2024, the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada agreed to dismiss all criminal charges against Halpern May’s client. The client was charged with three counts of Bank Fraud and two counts of Aggravated Identity Theft and had a potential sentence of over 90 years. Halpern May attorneys Aaron May and Catherine Thompson were able to obtain the dismissal after negotiating a diversion agreement with the US Attorney’s office.
