Ryan White, who recently joined Halpern May Ybarra Gelberg LLP to chair its Cybersecurity and
Data Privacy practice, was recently profiled in the TAG Cyber Law Journal.
Mr. White spoke about his career path, including his inspiration for joining the U.S. Attorney’s
Office and what ultimately led him to become the Chief of the Cyber & Intellectual Property
Crimes Section.
Mr. White also highlighted his reasons for joining the partnership at Halpern May, including
what he hopes to accomplish here. Among them, he focused on challenges clients face working
from home during COVID-19, the risks posed by ransomware and business email compromise
schemes, and the need for clients to be proactive to comply with the myriad privacy and data
breach laws that are rapidly emerging and evolving.
